Elmhurst Man Arrested 3 Times In Week

He has twice violated his release terms since his domestic battery arrest, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man was arrested three times in the last week, each time going to the DuPage County Jail, police said.

The 58-year-old man lives in the 200 block of East Fremont Avenue.

Last Saturday, the man was arrested on two counts of domestic battery. A woman told police that the man injured her Oct. 14 at their home. She also reported several other instances of battery.

On Wednesday, the man was twice arrested for violating the terms of his pretrial release, police said. About 2:30 a.m., GPS monitoring alerted authorities the man was near his home, where the battery victim was, police said.

About 6 p.m. that same day, police responded to a loud noise complaint at the home and found the man again.
