Elmhurst Man Arrested In DUI Crash: Cops

In another case, two men were charged with violating a city order to stop work, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of DUI, violating a stop work order and leaving the scene of a crash. Here is information from the reports:

DUIs

  • Richard Hale, 60, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 6 p.m. Wednesday at Spring Road and Crescent Avenue on charges of DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. The crash happened near his house on Spring Road. He was released on bond.
  • Nathaniel Arzet, 21, of Bensenville, was arrested about 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of North Geneva Avenue on charges of DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, suspended registration for no insurance, driving an uninsured vehicle and driving in the wrong lane. He was involved in a single-car crash. He was released on bond.

  • Randy Ruhl, 26, of Fox Lake, and Orlando Delgado Morquecho, 36, of Aurora, were cited shortly after 10 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of North Kenilworth on charges of violating the city's ordinance for construction work hours. Police said they were found to be working after a city order to stop. They were released on bond.

Leaving the scene of a crash

  • Fatima Reda Al Raeesi, 45, of Naperville, was cited about 5 p.m. Tuesday at North and Larch avenues on charges of leaving the scene of an accident and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident. She was released on bond.

  • Lashonda Garner, 35, of Mount Prospect, was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on a DeKalb County warrant. She turned herself in at the Elmhurst police station. She was released on bond.
