Elmhurst Man Brandishes Box Cutter: Cops
The man was confronted after he entered residents' mailboxes, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man was confronted while entering residents' mailboxes on New Year's Day, police said.
The incident happened about 12:30 p.m. in the 200 block of East Belden Avenue, police said.
Lukas Kalman, 31, of the 700 block of North Emroy Avenue, was arrested on a charge of assault. He was released on bond.

When a person confronted Kalman, he pulled out a box cutter and extended the blade, police said. It took place about three blocks away from Kalman's house.
