Elmhurst Man Charged With DUI Near Store: Police
In another case, a duo with a security tag removal device were arrested on burglary and retail theft charges, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police released their latest arrest log Monday. Here is information from the reports:
DUI
- A 56-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 300 block of North Highview Avenue was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Jewel, 153 E. Schiller St., on a charge of DUI. The man was described as highly intoxicated. He was taken to the police station and then released.
- A 21-year-old Schaumburg man was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Sunday at Oaklawn and North avenues on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and driving the wrong way on a one-way street. He was taken to the police station and then released.
Burglary

- Kris Dayan Navia Campo, 33, and Juan Carlos Calero Perdomo, 37, both of Berwyn, were arrested about 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83, on charges of burglary and theft. Police said they were found in possession of $539 worth of stolen items from Kohl's, a security tag removal device and a foil-lined bag, which can evade security systems' detection. They were taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Nuisance
- A 24-year-old Itasca man was cited shortly before midnight Sunday in the 100 block of East North Avenue on a charge of a nuisance involving a loud noise. He was released.
