Elmhurst Man Charged In Locker Room Clash

The man deliberately bumped someone else in a fitness center's locker room, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man was charged after he confronted someone else in the locker room at a local fitness center, police said.

The 46-year-old man, who lives in the 300 block of South Cottage Hill Avenue, was cited on charges of assault and disorderly conduct.

Police said the victim was in the locker room at FFC fitness center, 140 N. Addison Ave., when the 46-year-old yelled at him and purposely bumped into him. The suspect was later found at his house.

In another incident, a 48-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at the BP gas station, 217 E. Butterfield Road, on charges of attempted aggravated assault on an officer and disorderly conduct, police said. The man was accused of threatening the cashier and a responding officer.

The suspects in both incidents were released, police said.
