Elmhurst Man Growing Marijuana Again: Police
The plants in his yard were visible to the public, authorities said.
ELMHURST, IL – For the second year in a row, an Elmhurst man was arrested for illegally growing marijuana in his yard, local police said.
Carlos E. Loria, 53, who lives in the 800 block of South Hillside Avenue, was arrested on a charge of unlawful production of marijuana, growing between 20 and 50 plants, police said. The plants in his yard were visible to the public, police said.
Loria was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

A year ago, Loria faced a similar charge. At the time, police said Loria admitted to growing the plants.
