Elmhurst Man Hits Woman In Dispute: Police
The resident is charged with two counts of domestic battery.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of domestic battery, DUI and driving violations. Here is information from the reports:
Domestic battery
- Rodolfo Medrano, 42, of Elmhurst, was arrested at 1 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of North Addison on two counts of domestic battery. According to a police report, Medrano struck a woman during an argument. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI

- Thomas Tibbetts, 28, of Addison, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Saturday at North and Route 83 on charges of DUI, driving an uninsured vehicle, possession of open alcohol and possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle. He was released on bond.
- Matthew Jensen, 35, of Oakbrook Terrace, was arrested about 8 p.m Sunday at Commonwealth and Butterfield on charges of DUI, expired registration and driving an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond.
- Austin Taylor, 35, of Chicago, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Route 83 and Lake on charges of DUI, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of open alcohol and improper lighting. He was released on bond.
Driving violations
- Yessenia Ramirez, 29, of Addison, was cited about 5:30 a.m. Sunday at Lake and Grand on charges of driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident. She was released on bond.
