Elmhurst Man Hosts Underage Party: Cop

Officers were called to his house because of loud noise, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police charged people with hosting an underage party, disorderly conduct, trespassing, using fireworks and DUI, among other offenses. Here is information from the latest police reports:

Hosting underage party

  • A 59-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 100 block of South Lawndale Avenue was charged about 10:30 p.m. Saturday at his house with selling or giving alcohol to a minor under age 21 and hosting an underage party where alcohol was consumed by minors. Police said they were alerted to a loud party. The man was released.

Disorderly conduct

  • An Elmhurst man who lives in the 400 block of Fair Avenue and a Downers Grove man were arrested about 7 p.m. Thursday at North Avenue on Route 83 on charges of disorderly conduct involving befouling property. Police said the two drunk men refused to get out of an Uber driver's car. When they left, they urinated outside his car, police said. They were released.
  • A 40-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 1 p.m. Saturday at the train station, 128 W. First St., on a charge of disorderly conduct involving befouling property. Police said the man admitted to urinating in public. He was released.

Trespassing,

  • A 20-year-old Lombard man, a 20-year-old Glendale Heights man and a 19-year-old South Elgin man were arrested about 11:30 p.m. Sunday at the city’s parking deck, 145 N. Addison Ave., on charges of trespassing. Police said they were trespassing on the top floor. They were released.

  • A 22-year-old Crown Point, Indiana, man was arrested shortly before midnight Sunday at Clarion Inn, 933 S. Riverside Drive, on a fireworks charge. He was released.

DUI

  • A 53-year-old Elk Grove man was arrested about 8 p.m. Friday at Route 83 and St. Charles Road on charges of DUI, possession of open alcohol and improper lane usage. He was taken to the police station and released.
  • A 41-year-old Woodstock man was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of East St. Charles Road on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and DUI (drugs). Police said the man was passed out at the wheel. He was taken to the police station and released.
  • A 46-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 200 block of North Glade Avenue was arrested about 2 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Second Street on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, driving an uninsured car and damage to city property. Police said he got into a single-car crash. He was taken to the police station and released.
  • A 40-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 1 p.m. Saturday at the train station, 128 W. First St., on a charge of disorderly conduct involving befouling property. Police said the man admitted to urinating in public. He was released.
  • A 34-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 3 a.m. Monday near York High School, 355 W. St. Charles Road, on charges of DUI and disorderly conduct involving befouling property. An officer spotted the man urinating in the roadway. He was taken to the police station and released.
  • A 49-year-old Elmhurst woman who lives in the 200 block of North Oak Street was arrested shortly after midnight Sunday at Route 83 and North Avenue on charges of DUI and improper turn. She was taken to the police station and released.
  • A 49-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 1 a.m. Sunday at York Street and Vallette Avenue on charges of DUI, disobeying a stop sign, driving an uninsured car and improper lane usage. He was taken to the police station and released.
  • A 21-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 3 a.m. Sunday at Route 83 and St. Charles Road on charges of DUI and improper lane usage. He was taken to the police station and released.
