Elmhurst Man Knocks On Wrong Door, Later Charged With Assault: Police

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man mistakenly knocked on a neighbor's door last week, then became verbally aggressive toward her, police said.

Nicholas Cassaro, 33, of Elmhurst, was arrested on a charge of assault. The incident took place late Friday night in the 100 block of Fellows Court in Elmhurst, police said.

Cassaro was intoxicated and admitted to knocking on the wrong apartment door, police said.

Cassaro was released on bond.
