Elmhurst Man Shoots Air Pistol In Domestic: Police
Another local man is accused of battering a woman as she was entering a car, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of aggravated assault, domestic battery, theft, DUI, befouling property, aggravated DUI and trespassing. Here is information from the reports;
Aggravated assault
- Blake Glass, 20, who lives in the 300 block of South West Avenue in Elmhurst, was arrested about 9 p.m. Friday at his home on charges of domestic battery and aggravated assault involving the use of a deadly weapon. Police said he battered a woman and discharged an air pistol toward the ground. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

- A 41-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 400 block of Ida Lane was arrested about 2 p.m. Saturday at his house on two counts of domestic battery. Police said the man battered a woman as she was trying to enter a car. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Theft
- A 41-year-old Hillside man was arrested about Thursday on a theft charge. The man is accused of stealing an unlocked black Trek Marlin 6 bicycle about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jewel, 944 S. York St. He was released.

- An Elmhurst man who lives in the 10 block of Willow Tree Court was arrested about 7 p.m. Thursday at Whole Foods, 215 S. Route 83, on a charge of befouling property. Police said he urinated in front of Whole Foods. He was given a no-trespass notice.
Aggravated DUI
- Gerardo Moreno-Zuniga, 37, of Niles, was arrested about 7:30 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of North York Street on charges of aggravated DUI, driving with a revoked license, driving an uninsured car, and driving the wrong way on a one-way street. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI
- A 20-year-old Melrose Park woman was arrested about 2 a.m. Thursday at Lake and Church streets on charges of DUI, consumption of alcohol by a minor, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, squealing of tires, stopping in the roadway, failing to wear a seatbelt and failing to carry a license or permit. She was released.
- A 33-year-old Chicago woman was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Saturday at Third and York streets on DUI, improper lighting and failure to signal. She was taken to the police station and released.
- A 53-year-old Roselle woman was arrested about 8 p.m. Saturday at Van Auken Street and Crestview Avenue on charges of DUI, disobeying a stop sign, failure to signal and driving an uninsured car. She was taken to the police station, where she refused to provide a breath sample. She was released.
Trespassing
- Two Northlake men and one Melrose Park man, all 18, were arrested about 10 p.m. Saturday at the city's parking garage at 145 N. Addison Ave. on trespassing charges. They were released.
