Elmhurst Man Shot In Chicago Loop: Report
The man was one of two bystanders who were victims of the shooting, newspaper says.
CHICAGO, IL – An Elmhurst man and another bystander were shot Sunday afternoon near the Nederlander Theater in Chicago's Loop, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The 55-year-old Elmhurst man was struck in the neck and right ear, the newspaper said. The other victim was a 27-year-old man from the Gold Coast who was walking with his girlfriend, according to the Sun-Times.
Police told the Sun-Times the shooting was the result of a robbery during a drug deal at a nearby Taco Bell.
