Elmhurst Man Upset After He Was Told Store Closed: Report
The man was charged with criminal damage to property, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man was charged with criminal damage to property after an incident early Sunday morning at Jewel, 153 Schiller St., police said.
About 1:30 a.m., the man, identified as Trevor J. Horton, 30, broke a glass door at Jewel after being told the store had closed, according to the police report. He left the area on foot, but was found and taken into custody, police said. Jewel closes at midnight.
Horton lives in the 100 block of North Addison Avenue.
