Elmhurst Man Violates Protective Order: Cops
In another case, a woman was arrested after she was seen driving a stolen car, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of violating an order of protection, driving a stolen car, DUI, fleeing an officer and trespassing. Here is information from the latest arrest log:
Violating an order of protection
- A 53-year-old man from the 500 block of Adele Street in Elmhurst was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of North Emroy Avenue on a charge of violation of an order of protection. Police said the man was within 100 feet of the victim. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

- A 28-year-old woman from the 10 block of Elm Creek Drive in Elmhurst was arrested about 8 a.m. Sunday at her apartment on a charge of violating her domestic battery bail bond. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Stolen car
- A 31-year-old woman from Chicago was arrested about 11 p.m. Thursday at North Avenue and York Street on a charge of criminal trespassing to a motor vehicle. The woman was driving a car that was reported stolen in Chicago. She was released on bond.

- A 59-year-old man from Oak Lawn was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Friday at North and Addison avenues on charges of DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, disobeying a traffic control device and improper lane usage. He was released on bond.
- A 44-year-old man from Chicago was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Friday at North and Emroy avenues on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of open alcohol. He was released on bond.
- A 45-year-old man from Tempe, Arizona, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Saturday at Wrightwood Avenue and York Street on charges of DUI and driving without lights when required. He was released on bond.
Fleeing officer
- A 23-year-old woman from the 700 block of South Mitchell Avenue in Elmhurst was arrested about 9 p.m. Saturday at North and West avenues on charges of fleeing and attempting to elude an officer and speeding. She was released on bond.
Trespassing
- An 18-year-old man from Villa Park was arrested about 2 a.m. Sunday at the city's parking garage at 149 N. Addison Ave. on charges of trespassing, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, possession of drug paraphernalia and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was released on bond. Police said those under 18 were charged with trespassing and violating the curfew.
Warrants
- A 22-year-old man from Addison was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Monday at Clinton and North avenues on two DuPage County warrants and a charge of a passenger failing to wear a seatbelt. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
