Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare Board of Governors Presents Distinguished Service Award

New members welcomed.

During its annual meeting last month, Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare Board of Governors introduced seven new members and presented its Distinguished Service Award to Brian Hagan, an Elmhurst resident with involvement in community organizations as well as EMHC.

Since 1926, volunteer leadership by those living and working in the communities served by Elmhurst Memorial Hospital has been an important part of its success. The Board of Governors had its beginning in 1934 and is a vital part of EMHC's volunteer leadership. Governors serve as ambassadors, proactively representing the organization in Elmhurst and surrounding communities, and are vital links to these communities. They play an important role in promoting EMHC's mission, vision and values.

Hagan is the executive vice president of First American Bank in Elk Grove Village and is a member of the bank's Executive Loan Committee.
