Elmhurst Park Board Elects New Leader

The previous president served the last six years.

ELMHURST, IL – The Elmhurst Park District board on Monday changed its leadership during the annual organizational meeting.

In unanimous votes, the board elected Kevin Graf as president and Tim Sheehan as vice president, according to the district.

Graf had been the vice president. He replaced Vince Spaeth, who served as president since 2016. Spaeth remains on the board.

A year ago, member Carolyn Ubriaco challenged Spaeth for the presidency. Spaeth won in a 4-3 vote, receiving votes from himself, Graf, Sheehan and Claire Kubiesa. Ubriaco, Mary Kies and Meghan Scarsella were on the other side.
