Elmhurst Rent Dispute Leads To Arrest: Cops
A woman shoulder-bumped the landlord during an argument at her house, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police released their latest arrest log Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
Battery
- A 61-year-old Elmhurst woman who lives in the 300 block of West North Avenue was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at her house on a battery charge. Police said she asked her landlord for a rent decrease, sparking an argument. At one point, she intentionally bumped the landlord with her shoulder, police said. She was released.
- A 32-year-old Mount Prospect woman was arrested about 7 p.m. Monday at North and Myrtle avenues on charges of battery, DUI, driving with a suspended license and driving an uninsured car. Police said the woman got out of her car and yelled at a male passenger. She is accused of then battering responding officers. She was released.

- A 61-year-old Stone Park man was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday near Chick-fil-A, 235 S. Route 83, on charges of attempting to fail to register as a sex offender and improper lighting. He was released.
Warrant
- A 26-year-old Olympia Fields man was arrested about 2 p.m. Tuesday on a DuPage County warrant charging failure to appear in court. He turned himself into the Elmhurst police station.
