Elmhurst Repeat Offender Arrested In Domestic: Cops
One man struck someone, while the other suspect threw coffee, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Two Elmhurst men were arrested this week on domestic battery charges. Here is information from the reports:
• A 27-year-old Elmhurst man was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of West Crockett Avenue on two counts of domestic battery. Police said an intoxicated man struck another person. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
He has been in trouble a number of times in recent years. The last reported instance was in November 2021.

According to a police report at the time, a woman said the man struck her as she attempted to separate him from another man. The man then pulled a handful of hair out of the woman's head as he tried to prevent her from calling 911, police said.

• A 34-year-old Elmhurst man was arrested about 11:30 a.m. Monday in the 600 block of South York Street on a charge of domestic battery. Police said Stevens threw coffee at a woman during an argument. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
