Elmhurst Residents Face Disorderly Conduct Charges
A man made threatening comments to others at a local fitness center, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police charged people with disorderly conduct, identity theft, trespassing, retail theft and DUI. Here is information from the reports:
Disorderly conduct
- Mathew Keovan, 55, of Elmhurst, was cited about Tuesday at Courts Plus, 186 S. West Ave., on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police said Keovan made threatening and derogatory comments about people at Courts Plus, the local park district's fitness center. He was released on bond.
- Sophia M. Gale, 57, of Elmhurst, was cited about noon Tuesday in the 200 block of North Maple Avenue on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police said he yelled at a landscaper and sprayed him with a hose. She was released on bond.
Identity theft

- Kristina Figueroa, 36, of River Forest, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of identity theft. Her arrest was connected to an incident that took place about 3:30 p.m. April 11 in the 300 block of North Maple Avenue. Police said Figueroa used a person's credit card and bought two Amazon gift cards with it. She was released on bond.
Trespassing
- Charles A. Keefer, 53, of Villa Park, was arrested about 10 a.m. Monday at Jewel, 944 S. York St., on a charge of criminal trespass to property. Officers responded to a customer dispute. Keefer previously had been given a no-trespass notice at Jewel. He was released on bond.
Retail theft

- James T. Walker, 55, of Lombard, was arrested about 7 a.m. Wednesday at Jewel, 944 S. York St., on a charge of retail theft. Police said he stole alcohol. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Warrants
- Kenneth R. Moore, 32, of Chicago, was arrested about 11 p.m. Tuesday at North and Melrose avenues on a warrant. He was released on bond.
- Jason E. Maldonado, 30, of Chicago, was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of North York Street on a state Department of Corrections warrant and a charge of failing to wear a seatbelt. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI
- Ricardo Maravilla Garcia, 34, of Chicago, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at Route 83 and 16th Street on charges of DUI and driving on the wrong side of the road (two counts). He was released on bond.
