Elmhurst Residents Told Not To Rake Leaves To Curb

ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst is asking residents not to rake leaves into the streets, according to the city's Facebook page. A free leaf collection for residents who live within city limits will take place from Monday, Dec. 4, through Wednesday, Dec. 6, on residents' regular garbage collection days.

Leaves must be kept separated from other yard waste and placed at the curb in clearly marked cans, cardboard boxes or Kraft paper bags, the city said.
