Elmhurst Restaurant Burglarized: Police

The suspects left when they saw an employee behind the register, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Two men last week used a bat to shatter the front glass door of Dunkin' Donuts, 936 N. York St., Elmhurst police said.

They saw an employee behind the register and then left in a white sedan heading south on York, police said. It was about 2:30 a.m. Friday.

Dunkin' Donuts was closed at the time, but it opens at 5 a.m.

Police said an investigation is pending. They did not release a description of the men.
