Elmhurst Runner Blocked By Man: Cops

ELMHURST, IL – A woman was on a run this week in Elmhurst when a man blocked her path, keeping her for a moment from getting past him, police said.

The woman told police that she felt unsafe, so she called 911.

Labeled as disorderly conduct, the incident was about 8 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of South West Avenue, near the park district's Courts Plus fitness center, police said.

The man was described as white, in his 40s, having a buzz haircut and wearing a blue striped polo shirt.
