Elmhurst Teen Accused Of Domestic Battery: Cops

In another incident, two people were charged with trespassing at a city parking deck.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of domestic battery, trespassing, DUI and driving violations. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst arrest reports:

Domestic battery

  • Spencer Diaz, 19, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Berteau on two counts of domestic battery. According to a police report, he struck a victim several times. He left before officers arrived, but he was later found in the area. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Trespassing

  • Genaro Garduno, 21, of Villa Park, and Gina Gutierrez, 20, of Addison, were cited about 10 p.m. Saturday at the city's parking deck at 149 N. Addison on charges of trespassing. They were on the top floor of the parking deck in violation of no trespassing signs. They were released on bond.

DUI

  • Erika Torres, 35, of Glendale Heights, was arrested about 1 a.m. Saturday at North and Railroad on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and following too closely. She was released on bond.

Driving violations

  • Nataly Ninnett Rivas-Gomez, 26, of Elmhurst, was cited shortly after midnight Sunday at Grand and York on charges of no valid driver's license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lighting. She was released on bond.
  • Rueben Mitchell Jr., 39, of Stone Park, was cited about 11 p.m. Friday at Butterfield and Kirk on charges of no valid driver's license, driving with one headlight and driving an uninsured vehicle. He was released on bond.
