Elmhurst Winter Weather: School Closings

Normal refuse service will be delayed until Saturday, according to the city.

The city of Elmhurst also reminded residents of parking limitations during snowfall. The city said city snow removal crews will be working around the clock to clean and maintain city streets. Due to the potential for heavy snow, refuse pick up may take longer than usual. Residents can assist city crews by keeping fire hydrants free of snow piles, and not blowing or shoveling snow onto city streets.

The Elmhurst Police Department will not allow for any overnight street parking on Thursday and Friday evening.
