Elmhurst Woman Accused Of Domestic Battery
She also is charged with resisting a police officer, according to a report.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police have arrested people on charges of domestic battery, retail theft, drug delivery and DUI. Here is information from the reports:
Domestic battery
- Carol Schroeder, 49, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 7 a.m. Friday in the 900 block of South Caldwell on two counts of domestic battery and a count of resisting a police officer. Police said Schroeder bit, struck and scratched another person. After she was taken into custody, she resisted officers, police said. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Retail theft

- Edward C. West, 54, of Chicago, was arrested about 11 a.m. Thursday at CVS, 110 W. North Ave., on a charge of retail theft. Police said West stole several bottles of liquor. They also said he was responsible for two previous liquor thefts at Jewel, 153 E. Schiller, and Walgreens, 160 N. Robert Palmer. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Drugs
- Michael A. Nolfi Acevedo, 34, of Chicago, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of South West Avenue on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

- Andre V. Sawyer, 41, of Maywood, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Thursday at Roosevelt Road and York Street on charges of DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on bond.
- Bryan Roque, 39, of Itasca, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Saturday at Route 83 and Interstate 290 on charges of felony obstructing justice, DUI, no insurance, transportation of open alcohol, speeding and depositing material on the highway. Police said Roque refused a blood draw, so they obtained a warrant to do it. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Sergio Gutierrez, 22, of Chicago, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Road and Route 83 on charges of DUI, marijuana possession, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage and failure to signal. He was released on bond.
- Nubia Oliveri Trejo, 21, of Palatine, was arrested about 4 a.m. Saturday at York Street and North Avenue on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, disobeying a flashing red light and transportation of open alcohol. She was released on bond.
- Vinnecia Totty, 33, of Chicago, was arrested about 4 a.m. Sunday at Roosevelt Road and York Street on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, possession of open alcohol by a driver and driving an uninsured vehicle. Police said Totty's vehicle was found off the road. She was released on bond.
- David B. Browne, 43, of Lisle, was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Spring Road and Eggleston Avenue on charges of DUI, possession of open alcohol and driving an uninsured vehicle. He was released on bond.
