Elmhurst Woman Among 5 DUI Suspects: Cops

Two men and three women were arrested by Elmhurst police on DUI charges in the last few days, according to reports.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police arrested five people on DUI charges in the last few days. Here is information from the police reports:

  • Adriana Lopez, 28, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 5:30 a.m. Sunday at Lake and Grand on charges of DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to signal and operating a vehicle in an unsafe condition. She was released on bond.
  • Janene Mujica, 39, of Hanover Park, was arrested about 10 p.m. Sunday at North and Indiana on charges of DUI, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage. She was released on bond. According to a police report, Mujica was seen walking away from a multi-car crash. She was found moments later.
  • Kaylynn Espinoza, 26, of Chicago, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Friday at Route 83 and North on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and unlawful possession of marijuana. She was released on bond.
  • Joshua Britt, 30, of Bensenville, was arrested about 2 p.m. Saturday at Interstate 290 and St. Charles on charges of DUI, speeding, failure to signal, improper lane usage, unlawful possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and illegal transportation of open alcohol. He was released on bond.
  • Dakota Foster, 31, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 3 a.m. Saturday at Poplar and Huntington on charges of DUI and illegal transportation of open alcohol. He was released on bond. According to a police report, Foster was asleep behind the wheel.
