Elmhurst Woman Charged With DUI After Crash: Cops

In another case, a Cicero man was arrested on a weapons charge, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police have arrested people on charges of DUI, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and driving violations. Here is information from the latest reports:

DUI

  • Coleen Graham, 59, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 9 p.m. Tuesday at Spring and Crescent on charges of DUI, damage to city property and improper lane usage. Police said she got into a single-car crash. She was released on bond.

  • Kevin Roman, 18, of Cicero, was arrested about 8 a.m. Tuesday at West and Alexander on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of alcohol by a minor in public, driving with a suspended license and disobeying a stop sign. Police said they found a gun in Roman's glovebox. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Contributing to delinquency

  • Alejandro Mora and Jennifer Huerta, both 18-year-old Addison residents, were cited shortly after midnight Monday in the 100 block of North Addison on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. They were with minors who were in violation of the local curfew. Mora and Huerta were released on bond.

  • Lance Alexander, 60, of Chicago, was cited about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Palmer and Schiller on a charge of unlawful possession of open alcohol in public. According to a police report, an officer responded with medics for the report of an unconscious man at a bus stop. He was released on bond.

Driving violations

  • Tarcisio Sandoval, 64, of Franklin Park, was cited about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lake and Grand on charges of driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to yield. He was released on bond.
  • Marcus Framke, 27, of Villa Park, was cited about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Route 83 and the Canadian National Railroad on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving with a suspended registration. He was released on bond.
