Elmhurst's Family Fall Fest Canceled Due To Weather

ELMHURST, IL — The Family Fall Fest planned for Saturday in Elmhurst has been canceled. According to an email sent out by the park district, the existing conditions at Wild Meadows Trace aren't suitable to hold an event. More rain is forecasted for Saturday.

"From a staff stand point, it's always hard to make the decision to cancel an event," the park district said in its email. "A lot of time and effort goes into all the planning, not just for Park District staff but for all our sponsors, businesses and vendors involved."
