Explicit Pics A Problem For Elmhurst Man: Cops
A stranger threatened to share the images if the resident did not send money, police said.
ELMHURST, IL – A man in the 600 block of South Saylor Avenue sent explicit images Saturday to a stranger purporting to be a woman, Elmhurst police said.
The stranger then threatened to share the images if the resident failed to transfer money.
Also on Saturday, a man in the 100 block of North Geneva Avenue told police he was contacted online by a stranger who asked to pay to use one of the resident's Instagram photos.

The resident was sent numerous checks and was advised to transfer money to other online accounts for supplies, police said.
The resident sent the money before he learned he was the victim of a scam.
