Fall Teen Advisors Wanted At Elmhurst Library

ELMHURST, IL — High school students looking to volunteer can apply to be a Fall Teen Advisor at Elmhurst Public Library. According to the library, this is a volunteer position for students in grades 9-12 and requires 8-10 hours between Sept. 1 and Nov. 30.

The deadline to apply is Friday, Aug. 24. The library said the three-month commitment includes planning and helping with teen programs at the library. Service hours, a letter of recommendation and eligibility to be nominated for the city of Elmhurst Exemplary Youth Service Awards are some of the perks of this program.
