ELMHURST, IL – A pedestrian died in a collision with a train Monday afternoon between Myrtle and Cottage Hills avenues in Elmhurst, authorities said.

Trains are stopped in both directions.

Police are investigating the crash. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
