ELMHURST, IL – A fired employee who said she was coming back to her former Elmhurst workplace prompted a call to police last week, according to a report.

Waxing the City, 193 N. York St., recently terminated the employee, police said. The woman informed her former employer she would come back with the shop's keys, according to a police report.

The supervisor told police she believed the suspect was threatening her. The fired employee, however, said she was just going to return her keys and that there was no threat, police said.
