Fired Worker Returns To Elmhurst Office A Year Later: Cops

The woman was charged with trespassing after she refused to leave, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – A woman was arrested last week after she refused to leave an Elmhurst office where she was fired more than a year ago, local police said.

The 37-year-old Wilmington, Illinois, woman showed up about 8:30 a.m. Friday at the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers, 660 N. Industrial Drive, police said.

The company told police the woman had no reason to be in the building. She was charged with trespassing and then released.
