First Movie On The Green Held By Elmhurst Park District

The movie showing of "Caddyshack" is meant for adults, so make sure to call a sitter.

ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst Park District will host its first Movie on the Green, with a showing of "Caddyshack" from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30. According to the park district, a community-wide survey completed last fall showed residents felt they were missing out on adult events and entertainment in the parks. These results have caused the park district to create this event for adult residents.

The movie will be held at Sugar Creek Golf Course, 500 E. Van Buren, in Villa Park. The movie will begin at 7 p.m., but the park district said to come early to secure your seat on the driving range, sample a variety of menu items at a number of local food trucks, participate in games and contests for prizes, and grab an adult beverage in the clubhouse. Admission is free.

Children are not encouraged to attend this event, and the movie is rated R for adult content. Movie on the Green is organized by Elmhurst Park District and Elmhurst Public Library.
