Flooding Reported In Elmhurst; More Rain On The Way

ELMHURST, IL — Heavy rain and thunderstorms last night caused some flooding in Elmhurst. According to the National Weather Service, an underpass was flooded Wednesday night in Elmhurst and closed by the police department.

More rain is expected Thursday, according to the NWS. Elmhurst could receive an additional 2 inches of rain. Severe weather is also possible on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Damaging winds, hail and heavy rain and flooding are all possible with the storms.
