Grand Reopening Planned For Elmhurst's Plunkett Park Playground

ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst Park District will hold the grand reopening for Plunkett Park playground on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. You can attend the reopening and be one of the first to play on the new, tree house themed playground.

According to the park district, the playground features equipment inspired by nature and outdoor adventure. New structures include the Global Motion, a sphere structure that kids can climb, rotate and explore. The playground will also be one of the first in the area to have an Expression Swing, a swing with an adult and toddler seat, allowing caregiver and child to swing together.
