IC Catholic Prep Announces Campaign

ELMHURST, IL, JANUARY 29, 2024 — IC Catholic Prep has announced the launch of its "Legacy of Excellence: Learning, Leading, Serving" Capital Campaign. The campaign aims to enhance the school facilities, expand programs, and ensure a vibrant future for generations to come.

The President of IC Catholic Prep, Bob Cronin, shares this exciting news while kicking off Catholic Schools Week. He stated that the school has always been a beacon of academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community engagement. “It is with great enthusiasm that I share some remarkable news about an endeavor that will shape the future of our beloved institution. For 87 years, we have provided a nurturing environment where students can flourish intellectually, morally, and socially. Our commitment to these values is unwavering, but we recognize the need to adapt and evolve to meet the changing demands of education and the world around us.” states Bob Cronin, Class of 1978.

With that, Mr. Cronin shares the campaign's focus on renovating the STEM/Science Labs, which will serve as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence. The modern facility will feature advanced laboratories and dynamic spaces for hands-on learning and research. The renovation will offer an even higher quality of education, equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in an ever-evolving world.

Furthermore, the campaign will invest in the long-term future of athletics. The school community will benefit from accessible new bleachers and a press box that meet today's needs, and the gym will be air-conditioned to provide a safe environment for physical education classes and sports practices and competitions.
