ICCP Business Club Advances Members to BPA State Competition

In early December, 2017, twenty-two members of the ICCP Business Club participated in the Business Professionals of America (BPA) Illinois Regional Competition held at DeVry in Addison. IC Catholic Prep (ICCP) is proud to announce that 14 of these students have advanced to the BPA Illinois State Competition to be held on March 1-3 at the Doubletree Hotel in Oak Brook.

Three teams advanced to the State competition, in addition to five individual participants. In team events, the advancing teams include the Financial Analyst Team (Hannah Li, Ella Wan and Mark Zhao), the Global Marketing Team (Francesca Capannari, Annie Guinan, Olivia Slavin, and Katarina Vorne), and the Small Business Management Team (Jared Bon, Jack Fowler, Michael Hoffman and Dylan Packer).

In individual events, Jack Ryan (Fundamental Spreadsheet Application), Francesca Capannari (Fundamental Spreadsheet Application), Carlos Bindert (Advanced Spreadsheet Application), Katarina Vorne (Digital Publishing), and Don Saccomonto (Entrepreneurship) qualified for the State competition. ICCP’s Business Club is led by Business and Technology Department Chair, Mrs. Laura Storino.
