Incident Closes York Street For 20 Minutes: Cops
Crisis negotiators showed up, and a person was taken to an area hospital, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police closed part of York Street for about 20 minutes Monday morning because of a person's serious mental health incident, according to a news release.
About 11:30 a.m., officers responded to a house in the 600 block of South York Street, police said.
Out of "an abundance of caution," York was closed as officers set up a safety perimeter, police said.

Elmhurst police crisis negotiators showed up, and the person was taken to an area hospital, the release said.
The incident was contained to the person's house, and there was no threat to the public, police said.
