Intoxicated At York, Theft: Elmhurst Cops
A person who was found drunk on the York High School campus was taken to the hospital, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving drunkenness on campus, retail theft, porch piracy, a disturbance, DUI and a fugitive motorcyclist. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Drunkenness on campus
- Someone on the campus of York High School, 355 W. St. Charles Road, was found drunk about 10 a.m. Tuesday. The person was taken to Elmhurst Hospital. An investigation is pending.
Retail theft

- A 23-year-old Glenwood woman and a 35-year-old Chicago woman were arrested about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on retail theft charges. They were accused of stealing at Mariano's, 678 N. York St. They were released.
- A woman stole merchandise about 3:30 p.m. Monday at E Lounge, 104 W. Second St. She was described as black, 6 feet tall, and having short red and orange hair. An investigation is pending.
Porch piracy
- A man stole a package about 1 p.m. Monday from a front porch in the 700 block of South Benton Court. The man was described as Hispanic and wearing a gray hat with a blue flat bill, a white zip-up jacket, light brown khaki shorts and black shorts.
Disturbance

- A woman told police that a person banged on her door and had been trying to contact her against her wishes. The incident at her door occurred about 7 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of East Lake Street. An officer told the suspect not to go to the woman's house and stop all communications.
DUI
- A 42-year-old Addison man was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at North and Villa avenues on charges of DUI and driving an uninsured car. He was taken to the police station and then released.
Fugitive motorcyclist
- A motorcyclist fled about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday after an officer tried to stop him near Bernice and Entry drives. The man was last seen headed west on Grand Avenue.
No-trespass notice
- A person was served a no-trespass notice Wednesday at Goodwill Store, 675 W. North Ave.
