Julian Chin Jazz Trio to Present Concert
Celebrate the holidays and the joy of jazz as the acclaimed Julian Chin Trio and a guest vocalist present "A Songwriter's Circle."

On Sunday, Dec. 2nd at 5:00 p.m. Jazz returns to Bethel United Church of Christ’s Music at Bethel concert series with a crowd-pleasing performance by the Julian Chin Trio. Under the leadership of jazz pianist Julian Chin, the trio will present “A Songwriter’s Circle” - a diverse concert experience that will include tunes from Stephen Sondheim, James Blake and Ahmad Jamal.
Julian Chin is a performer and educator from the Chicago area, where he has established himself as an eclectic musician competent in a wide variety of styles. A frequent contributor to the Music at First series at First United Church in Oak Park, he can also be seen performing jazz at venues like Andy’s Jazz Club and the Green Mill; hip hop at venues like the Beat Kitchen and Bottom Lounge; and modern rock at Martyrs' and Schubas. Chin is the keyboardist for the retro-pop act Elle Casazza.
Band members include Julian Chin – piano; Ben Dillinger – double bass; Andrew Green – drums; Beth Reinstein – blues vocalist.

A wine reception will follow the concert. Bethel United Church of Christ is located at 315 East St. Charles Road in Elmhurst. Tickets are available online through www.musicatbethel.com or by calling 630-279-4040. Prices are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and $5 for students. A family pass is available at $45 for 2 adults and up to 5 children. The church is accessible and parking is free. Enter at the Sandburg Middle School entrance from St. Charles Road, or from Huntington off Poplar Street.
