Kickoff for Kids (KoK) is pleased to announce its 12th annual holiday party will be held on November 22, 2014, at Fitz’s Spare Keys in Elmhurst starting at 6:30pm. Tickets are $75/person and are available online now at www.kickoffforkids.org.
One of the highlights to this year’s holiday party is the special support that will be given to Marshall Bell, fourth grader at Lincoln Elementary School in Elmhurst, suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be dedicated to giving Marshall a dream bedroom makeover through Special Spaces and American Mattress, and helping to purchase a new electric wheelchair.

“Kickoff for Kids is proud to offer support for Marshall as he tries to deal with the challenges of Duchenne’s,” said Mike La Spisa, board founder and president of KoK. “This focus is the foundation of why we started Kickoff for Kids and by simply attending our annual holiday party, people can help raise money for this Elmhurst child and give him the room makeover of his dreams. It will be a fun evening, with a purpose.”
People looking to attend this year’s holiday party are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance online at www.KickOffForKids.org. Limited tickets will be available at the door. Purchase price for the ticket includes three hours of open bar, appetizers, an open buffet, and the cover charge for musical guests, Suburban Cowboys, who hit the stage at 9:30pm. A live auction and wine pull will also be available. Attendees are encouraged to bring an unwrapped gift in conjunction with KoK’s partnership with Toys for Tots.
