Knife-Wielding Elmhurst Man Identified: Cops

He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. His arrest was delayed because he was in the hospital, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man who pointed a knife at officers during a domestic disturbance was publicly identified Thursday.

Bartlomiej Kornacki, 51, who lives in an apartment building in the 100 block of East Schiller Street, was arrested Wednesday on three counts of aggravated assault with a weapon on an officer.

The incident occurred on the night of March 4 at the apartment complex, police said.
