Local all girl teen rock band performs with Lita Ford

August 19, 2014 – Carol Stream, Downers Grove, and Elmhurst, IL. Local all girl teen rock band Bloody Mary opens for Vixen and Lita Ford at the Arcada Theater in St. Charles, IL on September 12, 2014. Tickets are now available from $49-$79 at www.extremetix.com.

The all female band Vixen is best known for their debut self-titled album and subsequent tours with Ozzy Osbourne, Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Kiss, and Deep Purple.

Lita Ford was a founding member, and the lead guitarist, of the iconic all girl teen rock band The Runaways. Since her time with The Runaways, Lita has achieved a successful solo career spanning decades and including numerous Billboard Top 100 singles, as well as “Close My Eyes Forever,” a top ten Gold single with Ozzy Osbourne.

ABOUT BLOODY MARY

Bloody Mary is an all-girl teen rock band that has been taking Chicago and the surrounding Midwest area by storm since 2010. This group of high-energy performers is known for their unique sound and impressive array of both original music and covers. Bloody Mary released their first CD “Coming of Age” on the Dark Star Records/Sony label in February 2013 and is hard at work on a new original EP.

Bloody Mary has received positive press from Chicago Magazine, Music Junkie Press, and recently appeared on the nationally syndicated Mancow in the Morning Show. Members of the band are:
