Man Arrested In Elmhurst Home Burglary: Cops

The suspect is accused of stealing jewelry and a weapon, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – A Justice resident was arrested last week in the burglary of a house in an Elmhurst neighborhood, police said.

Kevin Miller, 25, of Justice, was charged with residential burglary.

Police said Miller burglarized a house about 2:30 p.m. Feb. 22 in the 400 block of East Atwater Avenue. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

According to a police report, Miller stole jewelry and a pellet gun from the house. A doorbell camera showed Miller walking away, police said.

Moments later, Miller climbed a fence and entered the passenger side of a black Chevrolet SUV, police said.

Miller was arrested in Chicago.
