Man With Camera In Elmhurst Suspicious: Police

The man was seen on surveillance footage taking photos and looking through a house's clear glass door, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Surveillance footage showed a stranger looking through a clear glass door on an Elmhurst house and taking photos, police said.

The man left on a white or silver bicycle. It happened about 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of South Linden Avenue, police said.

The man was described as Hispanic, 35 years old, having dark hair, and wearing dark pants, dark shoes with red soles, and a black shirt with a large black and white image on the back.

Another suspicious incident happened about 5 p.m. Thursday at the condos at 483 N. Larch Ave., police said.

A man was seen underneath cars in the parking lot. When confronted, he left the lot on a blue Yamaha motorcycle, followed by a woman in a white SUV, police said.

An officer did not see anything suspicious or missing from the cars in the parking lot, police said. Catalytic converter thefts are on the rise around the country.

The man was described as Hispanic, in his 20s, 5-foot-9, slim, having short black hair, and wearing a cut-off shirt. The woman was said to be in her 20s, 5-foot-4, slim, having long black hair, and wearing a white tank top. She was with a 3- or 4-year-old child.
