Man Creates Ruckus At Elmhurst Bus Stop: Cops
The suspect is accused of violating a no-contact order when he picked up his daughter at a bus stop, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man picking up his daughter earlier this month at a school bus stop was arrested for violating a no-contact order with a woman, police said
On Sept. 1, the 53-year-old man from the 500 block of Adele Street was at the bus stop at Gladys and Emroy avenues.
The woman in question was along Emroy, according to a police report obtained through a public records request. When the daughter was dropped off, the 53-year-old looked at the woman and made an obscene gesture, police said.

The bus stop had been previously moved so that the woman could avoid contact with the man, the report said.
The man told an officer that he was aware of the no-contact order but that he said he was not within 100 feet of the woman. The officer said the man was within that distance.

Asked whether he flipped off the woman, the 53-year-old said he did when the woman told him, "F--- you."
The man said he was notified by his wife to pick up his daughter and that he had no other option, according to the report.
The man was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
