Man With Gun In Elmhurst Neighborhood: Cops

The suspect told officers that he displayed a gun in self-defense, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police responded to an incident over the weekend involving a man with a gun in the 100 block of East Crescent Avenue, authorities said.

About 6:30 p.m. Saturday, a person told officers that the man pulled out a gun and pointed it at the ground during an argument, police said.

The suspect said the other person displayed a hockey stick, so he displayed the gun in self-defense, police said.
