Man Jailed For Harassing Elmhurst Woman: Cops

He was arrested last month for causing problems at her apartment complex, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elk Grove man was arrested again Sunday for causing problems for a resident at an apartment complex in Elmhurst, authorities said.

James Hale, 70, was charged with harassment by telephone, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Police said a woman at the Greencastle apartment complex, 190 N. Michigan St., told officers that Hale was still contacting her after she filed a harassment report.

On Sept. 10, Hale was arrested on charges of violating his bail bond and disorderly conduct. It was an incident related to the same woman in the apartment complex, police said. Officers said Hale admitted to making contact with her. He was taken to jail.
