Man Lies To Elmhurst Cops About Person Being In Danger
In other cases, retail thieves repeatedly target an Elmhurst store, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of disorderly conduct, retail theft, trespassing and theft. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst arrest log:
Disorderly conduct
- A 32-year-old Villa Park man was arrested about 12:30 p.m. Saturday on a disorderly conduct charge. Police said the man called 911 and lied about someone being in danger at a house in the 400 block of South Argyle Avenue. He was released.
- A 33-year-old Carol Stream man was arrested about 9:30 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of North Addison Avenue on a disorderly conduct charge. Police said the man urinated outside The Fynn apartment complex, 183 N. Addison Ave. He was released.

- Patricia Nicholas, 35, of Chicago, was arrested about 6 p.m. Friday on charges of burglary, retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. The incident was at Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83. Also arrested was Tramaine Hawkins, 37, of Chicago, on charges of burglary, retail theft and possession of a controlled substance. A 40-year-old Bellwood man was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, trespassing to a car and driving with a revoked license. They were taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 26-year-old Matteson man was arrested on charges of retail theft, obstructing a police officer and unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver. The arrest was in connection with an incident about 3 p.m. Friday at Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83. The man was released.
- A 38-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83, on charges of retail theft and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said the man concealed merchandise in a gray backpack before walking out of the store. He was released.
Theft
- A 44-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 500 block of North Willow Road was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Friday on charges of theft and resisting a police officer. During a domestic dispute, the man stole and sold items belonging to the victim, police said. He left, but was later found. He was released.
Trespassing

- A 43-year-old St. Charles woman was arrested about 11 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of South Fairview Avenue on a trespassing charge. Police said they found her on a property where officers asked her not to go. She was released.
