Man Punctures Tires In Elmhurst: Cops

In another case, a Bensenville man obstructed his identification from officers, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of criminal damage, harassment, obstructing identification and driving violations. Here is information from the reports:

Criminal damage

  • George Hronopoulos, 63, of Bloomingdale, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 100 of North Addison on charges of criminal damage to property and harassment through electronic communications. According to a police report, Hronopoulos punctured two tires and cracked the windshield of a man's car about 3 a.m. Aug. 13 in the 100 block of North Addison Avenue. Hronopoulos was released on bond.

  • Joselino Perez-Garcia, 33, of Bensenville, was arrested about 7 a.m. Friday at York and Elmwood Terrace on charges of obstructing identification, driving with a revoked license, driving an uninsured vehicle and driving with expired license plates. He was released on bond.

Minors drinking

  • Three 18-year-old men were charged about 1 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of South Villa with consumption of alcohol by a minor. The men were from St. Louis; Sussex, Wisconsin; and Dublin, Ohio. Police found the men while responding to a loud noise complaint.

  • Genese Marie Dadzie, 36, of Bensenville, was cited about 9:30 p.m. Monday at York and Lake on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving with one headlight. She was released on bond.
  • Michael Ramsey, 51, of Chicago, was cited about 5:30 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of West North on charges of driving with a revoked license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and driving a vehicle with a suspended registration. He was released on bond.
